In 2019 Canolfan S4C Yr Egin was announced as the winner of the Commercial category in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Wales annual awards ceremony.
As well as winning the Commercial category, the building was also shortlisted for the Design through Innovation category.
Yr Egin – the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s new digital and creative centre based at its Carmarthen campus – is an innovative development located within a striking and iconic building. It includes an auditorium, editing suites, performance areas as well as a popular café and offers a varied programme of events, workshops, talks and screening
