CBRE – West Brom ATE

CBRE are the facility management & construction partner for BT operating nationwide across their 800 UK properties.

Within their scope of work they are tasked with refurbishing all telephone exchanges top down. part of this package includes upgrading the flooring within the server rooms.

As a partnering contractor to CBRE, we were tasked with preparing and bringing the floor to a high level Electro Static Dissipative finish, with embedded earthing points to ensure the area was a safe space to work for engineers. The preparation included hammer testing to establish the level of damage to the screed, crack filling and priming ahead of laying the nominated SIKAFLOOR 2350 topcoat. With a 36 hours curing time. From inception to completion the contract took 10 days, and has been recognised within CBRE as a standard bearer for future flooring projects.
